So nice...

Something that we in the nordic countries like to drink in december is Glögg. It is like mulled wine and some of the ingredients are red wine, sugar and spices such as cinnamon and ginger.
It should be warmed up to drink and after a walk in the snow it is so nice to heat this up and drink with raisins and almonds. A little gingerbread on the side is nice too!

It has started!

The count down for Christmas has started!

I should have written this post yesterday as we lit the first of four candles yesterday, as there are now 4 Sundays before Christamas.
But I was away at a fair all day and half through the day I was starting to feel very poorly. At the end of the I felt so bad I just went to bed straight away when I got home.
But I felt a lot better this morning, well that was until I looked outside the window. It was snowing so much, AGAIN, and the forecast is saying more is still to come! Oh no!!!! We haven´t had this much snow at this time a year before so it looks like winter is here to stay for a LONG time. Sigh...

Update!

It is nice to be back home after the show in England. I had a wonderful time and it was great to see and speak to so many collectors and friends. But I really need a rest now with Christmas coming up soon...:D

Ready or not...

Well the day has come when I have to be ready or not to fly to England. I am off early, oh so early..., in the morning to Copenhagen for my flight to Manchester. I am hoping to do some Christmas shopping on the Saturday, yhheee.
I really looking forward to this show in Sheffield on Sunday and if you are coming to the show, please stop by and say hello!

Not nameless anymore

Santas Helper

I have been working on this little guy for some time now. I had to make him ready to travle with me to the show in Sheffield.
As you can see, he is Santas helper....his Christmas sack is all packed with presents for all the young teddy bears.
I haven´t named him yet so the poor thing is without name for now. But he will be available for adoption at "The Great Teddybear Show".

Well there are still things to be done before next weekend so I better go and do that...
