Joshua is here!

Let me show you my latest creation!!! His name is Joshua and he is a new design with an opened mouth...


I am very happy with my new design and I hope you like him too.


Joshua is wearing a scarf made of linen that is old a wrinkled... and his feet has been needle schulpted.


Joshua is filled with plastic pellets in his tummy to give him that nice weight. The rest of his body is filled with heavy weight polyester.

Ven, a beautiful island!

I went with my family to this beautiful island called Ven and it is located between Sweden and Denmark. It only takes about 30 minutes with the boat and the only way you can get round the island is on a bike.



The weather is ssssooo warm at the moment so going there was such a joy. I absolute love Ven and going on the bikes is so much fun. The water and the nature is breath taking and you can spend days there and still not get bored.



We have been here before but we love to come back every summer and now we are taking about maybe getting a cottage next summer and stay longer than a day.



I hope that you can see from the photos how nice it is here and the water is all blue and green.



I only have a day left now to work and after that I have 3 weeks holiday. With it being so warm I have to focus on making bears and September is going to be here sooner then I want, aaahhh...
.


Well I think I will have time to relax a little and still make bears. The summer in Sweden isn´t that long so I have to enjoy the most of that too....

A new bear soon...

Well I have been busy lately working on a new design. And I must say( if I may say it myself) that I am very happy with the way he turned out.... I have decided to wait a bit before he makes his debut on my website and of course here on my blog.


I have put some sneak previews of him to tease you and hopefully you will pop back later to see him in the "fur". He will be available on the 6-7th of July and if would like to know exactly when he is published on my website, then please join my mailing list.


It is back to work on some more bears for me so have a nice day!

Mid-sommar.....

What happened?

The summer started of well in May and the weather was so warm and nice...Now when it is June and suppose to be even warmer, the rain in coming down and it is so windy. This is exactly how the summer was last year and the warmth never came back before Autumn. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that it will change soon. I look forward to the summer the most as the Autumn and Winter are sooooo long and cold. I have to look forward and not think about the weather too much as there is nothing I can do about it any way....
I think I have to start getting ready for the two show coming up, both in September and only a week apart. September will proberbly be here sooner than I want so it is best to get started now. There are so much that have to be finnised so this is what I will be concentrate on.
Closer to the Shows, first "Who is who in Bear-Making" and then The Hugglets Show in London, I will put up a preview here on my blog.

A lovely day!

I had a wonderful day yesterday that I have to share with you. It was Mother´s day here in Sweden and I got flowers and a box of chocolate from my children.
The sun was really warm so we went down to the beach later that day as it only takes about 15 minutes to drive there. It was so nice, I love the beach, it is so calm and peaceful.



We walked along the water and our children run in the waves that came in to the seashore.




I found a stone just before we were going home and it had a shape like a heart so I had to take a photo of it. Just seconds before I did my husband drew a heart with his fingers around it and I thought it was so sweet,aaahhh...

Beatrice has arrived!!!

You might have read in an earlier post that I was doing a swap with Nichole of Blueberry Creations. We send the creations of on the same day and the teddy bear, Tilden, arrived last Saturday for Nichole. I have been checking my post everyday since then and finally there was a parcel for me. Yyyhhhheeee.

I got Beatrice the Hippo from Nichole and I absolute love her to bits!!! Nichole has got so much talent and I am so lucky that she been admiring my bears too so we could do this swap.

Isn´t she absolute wonderful and lovely?????
